Alright, been ages since I've updated a bloody thing here. A number of things have changed , generally for the better. If you've read the entry before this, you'd get a feeling of the horrible (that MIGHT be a strong word for it) depression I was in that cast a shadow of darkness over what should have been a beautiful time. People that have known me personally for a span notice and get used to the depressive spells I slide in and out of on a totally irregular basis. Everything is peachy now and it's not like I felt suicidal or anything.

Anywho-on to the goodness.

I took an art class last semester (University Wisconsin Fox Valley) so I've got an item or two that I used more than an index finger to make (i.e.-actually DRAWN works). The issue is that the scanner I have is to small to get the images here. I'm thinking of solutions (suggestions welcome!); I just can't finger one yet.

I also FINALLY found a job. I start Friday the 13th (I don't believe in the day being unlucky or what have you) at a gun/sporting store here in Oshkosh. Since I don't know who really looks at this page, I'm not telling ya which one.

That same week, a group of veterans and I decided to try and put together a group on campus. Nothing really special, just a group of vets who incoming ones can talk to on how to get benefits started, how to adapt to life on the outside (some of the freshman can be a bit hard to take, I'll tell YOU), and get together and swap stories. We've toyed with the idea of a bar night-I'm gonna have to see where that idea goes.

I've bought Fallout 3 and had a blast with it-until I figured out it's NOT as endlessly explorable and re-playable as it's predecessor, Oblivion. The game's FUN-don't get me wrong-it's just...well, SHORT. Don't even bother w/ the Operation Anchorage expansion/DLC-it's so short a 7yr old w/ ADHD could finish it.

I got the Stumble plug-in for Firefox. Great way to find odd things. DO NOT TELL IT YOU ENJOY ANIME. Every 4 sites it brings me to are-no joke-about anime, imitating the art style, etc., etc,. It gets old.

Before you just ignore this (I'd be impressed if you made it this far); there IS a common thread here. I Stumbled to this site (listed below)

It's a great post in a net full of detritus and sludge. Well written, emotional, brilliant. I just can't tell if the guy's role playing or not.

So to get back onto a relevant topic, I'm gonna try to get some of the art class stuff posted here. That's it for now! Check back again sometime...this'll be here.

P.S.-WTF is with this subscription thing on DA now? How long has THAT been there?
